Rufus has decided he no longer wants to eat his dog vitamin. The dog vitamin is chewable but it looks and smells like a vitamin. Does anybody have any suggestions for a dog vitamin that tastes better he may eat? I don't want to just buy any old dog vitamin without having an inside track on whether or not dogs like them.

What I do when my dog, a native mutt, developed distastes to his vitamin-filled food I take him out for a play of "hide & seek". I'd bury a toy bone and he'd search for it. Once found, I reward him with the same old food. He never seem to mind probably due to the diversion.
Try some diversion that will make your dog forget the drudgery of taking "pills". :-)
Thanks for the tip! I will let you know how it goes.

If your dog is eating a complete and balanced diet, i think vitamins aren't necessary at all... Did you by chance see this article about Zootoo’s shelter makeover? http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-04-12-zootoo-shelter-clash_N.htm
